Lead Generation/Sales Support

This is a new role within the company and we are looking to recruit an experienced cold caller (1-2 years experience) to play an active part in delivering business to the company from the offset.

The role will be the generation of new leads/appointments for the Sales team with the aim of creating new business opportunities for the company. Whilst retaining autonomy he/she will be working closely with the Sales team and will receive full training and support on our products and services.

His/her role will be predominantly: Cold calling/qualification of any leads from our internal database to fully qualify any potential project in terms of requirements/ timescales and budget etc.

  • Cold calling prospective clients from newspapers, magazines and the Internet

  • Generation of leads using his/her own ingenuity.

  • Arranging meetings for the Sales team to attend (at least one per day).

Whilst this is a cold calling role and we are very focused on quality and qualification, candidates should be aware that volume calling is essential with a target of between 80 and 100 calls per day as a minimum.

As a young company, we are continually looking to develop our staff. There will therefore be an opportunity to progress into a sales consultant role based on performance and delivery.

Essential Requirements

  1. 1-2 years cold calling experience in a web environment
  2. Enthusiastic, self driven and determined to succeed
  3. Technical understanding of Microsoft web technology (purely from a sales perspective, we do not require technical candidates).
  4. Excellent telephone manner – articulate and professional
